When we ship
Frozen orders ship Monday through Wednesday with standard shipping, and Monday through Thursday with overnight shipping. That way your box never sits in a carrier warehouse over a weekend. Order after the last shipping day of the week and it goes out the following Monday.
Dry goods such as seasonings, jerky and tallow ship Monday through Friday.
We can't ship to P.O. boxes.
Package protection
ShipAid Package Protection is added to your cart automatically. You can switch it off in the cart, but we recommend keeping it: it covers loss, damage and theft in transit. Coverage ends once the carrier confirms delivery. How ShipAid works.
When your order arrives
Our beef ships frozen and uncooked in an insulated box packed to stay cold in transit, and it may begin to thaw on the way.
Refrigerate or freeze everything as soon as it arrives. Per USDA guidelines, raw meat can be refrozen or eaten as long as it is 40°F or colder. If anything arrives warmer than that, contact us.
Storage
For best results, freeze or cook everything within a week of arrival. Frozen, it keeps for up to a year. Once a cut is out of its plastic, eat it within 48 hours.
