Like butter

I have purchased these before but this last sale was by far the best. I got rave reviews on presentation and taste. My guests told me they eat at the finest restaurants in town but never had a steak this melt in your mouth delicious.

Been buying Wagyu, American and Japanese steaks for a while. The steak was amazing.

Delicious steak

The steaks have great flavor and beautiful marbling. They are about 1 1/2 to 2 inches thick. Because of this, they do need to be seasoned a little more aggressively. I seasoned with a mixture of Kosher salt, garlic powder and ground ancho chilis and let it sit in the refrigerator for 24 hours uncovered. I let it come to room temperature for an hour before cooking. I grilled it on a Ninja Wood Fire Pro grill using the griddle insert at medium grilling temp of about 450 degrees for 5 minutes a side. The Ninja allowed me to add a light smoke to the flavor profile. It developed a great crust, the fat was rendered and was the meat was rare to medium rare. Because my wife prefers steak more to medium I put it in a 425 degree oven loosely covered for 5 minutes, then let it rest for 8 minutes. It was so tender we cut it with butter knives. The price of $75 a steak was a little steep but I got mine on a BOGO deal and the price of $37.50 a piece is a deal.
